I have been thinking a lot about who I am following, what I retweet, and the conversations within twitter, google +, Facebook and other social media technologies. There are a lot of great posts and bloggers that I follow: @PeterVogel, @ChrisWejr, @SeanTSlade , @datruss , @mcleod, @davidwees and @MsVictoriaOlson .
All these amazing educators post great insights into the current thought on educational pedagogy with respect to technology and connecting educators through social media. I enjoy reading their ideas, the comments from other educators, and seeing how I can implement some of them into my own work. But I find that, recently, I am thinking more about other educators not using social media, the general public and the future of public education.
It may be that as I look at those I follow, or those that follow me, I was originally looking for confirmation on my ideas…
